At Towcester Tots, we understand that Government childcare funding can sometimes feel confusing. We've made things simple, helping you understand your options and find the right funded place for your child.

Funded Sessions
From 1st September 2026, eligible children can access up to 15 or 30 hours of Government-funded childcare per week, depending on their entitlement, offered over 38 weeks of the year.
At Towcester Tots, funded hours can be arranged across the week to suit your childcare needs, subject to availability, with up to 7.5 funded hours available per day.
If you require additional childcare beyond your child's funded entitlement, additional hours can be booked at our standard private rate.
Need additional hours?
Additional childcare outside your funded entitlement can be booked for £9.75 per hour, or £97.50 for a full private day, subject to availability.

A shorter funded session each day, Monday to Friday.
We can provide a range of child-specific personal care items throughout your child's day, including wipes, nappy cream, nappy sacks, sun cream and other applicable consumables. Families can choose to use our nursery-provided consumables package for £3 per attending day.
Our children enjoy a variety of additional experiences throughout the year, including chick hatching, ZooLab visits, special events, themed days and other enhanced activities designed to make their time at Towcester Tots even more memorable.
Our nursery chef, Pon, prepares a selection of healthy, freshly cooked food each day, including breakfast, morning and afternoon snacks, lunch and tea, providing everything your child needs throughout their nursery day.
Optional Extras
Alongside your child's funded hours, we offer a range of optional extras designed to make their day at Towcester Tots as enjoyable and convenient as possible. These services are completely optional and are not required to access a funded place. If you would prefer to make your own arrangements, please speak to a member of our team and we'll be happy to discuss the alternatives available.
