Meet the Team

Melanie Preece (proprietor) holds a BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies and is an EYP (Early Year Professional)

 

Our Nursery Manager, Lisa Blackburn has a BA Hons in Early Childhood Education and Early Years Teacher Status (EYTT) and has been with Towcester Tots since we opened in 2006

 

Leanne Maplethorpe is our Assistant Manager/Learning and Development Leader and  holds a BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies

Hayley Smith is our Assistant Manager/Family Support Worker and SENCO Supervisor along with 

Nicole O'Neill as our SENCO Assistant

​Hannah Bell is our Nursery Administrator who is Level 3 qualified in Childcare and has been with the nursery for many years

Our Room Leaders are:

Baby Room: Katrina Myers

Toddler Room: Sophie Kitchen, Orla Blackburn

Pre School Room: Nicole O'Neil, Sophie Cameron, Emily Lockett​​​

We have a nursery cook, Pon Willis, who is Level 2 qualified in Food Hygiene and also Level 2 in Childcare

Our Early Years Practitioners are dedicated to ongoing professional development, continually expanding knowledge of babies and children through both internal training and external resources. We strive to offer the highest quality care and education for your little ones!​

Many of our Room Leaders and Early Years Practitioners have long-term experience, holding level 2 or 3 qualifications or pursuing higher training.​​
